Second year masters-level students at the University of Toronto Faculty of Information (iSchool) may enrol in either or both of two practicum courses. Students enrolled in the Information Professional Practicum course undertake a 105-hour practicum project in a term. Those enrolled in the Management of Corporate and Other Special Information Centres undertake a 45-hour practicum over the course of one term.

The practicums in each course help the students to prepare for the professional work world.

At the end of the term the students prepare a poster that represents the work that they have completed. The posters are displayed in this virtual exhibition divided by the school term.

The posters provide a good indication of the wide variety of types of roles that students will be ready to take on after they graduate and the many different types and sizes of organizations they will be interested and ready to work in.
